JayZ Sells One Third Of Tidal To Sprint For $200 Million

American rapper, business mogul and music demi-god, Shawn Corey Carter popularly known as Jay-Z has sold one-third (33%) of Tidal’s streaming service to Sprint for over $200 million.

According to Forbes, part of the deal will have Tidal available to Sprint’s 45 million customers while CEO Marcelo Claure will join Tidal’s board of directors.

Commenting on the recent development, Marcelo Claure said;

Jay saw not only a business need, but a cultural one, and put his heart and grit into building Tidal into a world-class music streaming platform that is unrivaled in quality and content

Jay-Z on the other hand also had some good words to throw around saying Marcelo understood Tidal’s goals;

Marcelo understood our goal right away and together we are excited to bring Sprint’s 45 million customers an unmatched entertainment experience.

However Jay-Z would retain stakes in the company as $75 million fund would be dedicated to musicians’ exclusive releases, this being agreed by both parties.

It’s like something told the people that control what is played and what is not that if the video does not portray half naked girls in one way or the other the video shall not be – continue here

Fetty Wap Drops the Bedroom Banger “Make You Feel Good”

Fetty Wap is showing off another side of his once again with the new bedroom banger “Make You Feel Good.” Zoovier dropped the new track via 300 Entertainment (Aug. 26) and if you’re trying to get it in this weekend, you need to add this to your playlist.

His summer hit, “Wake Up”, which ironically has to do with school, currently sits at No. 50 on the Billboard 200. Two weeks ago, he dropped the more serious track “Different Now”. Fetty’s also started exploring the pop music realm by assisting Fifth Harmony on their track “All in My Head (Flex).” That song is at No. 28 on the Billboard charts and climbing.

With tracks like “My Way,” “679” and of course “Trap Queen,” the crooning rapper inspired by Gucci Mane had a record breaking run this time last year. But with a full-stock arsenal of music for 2016, it’s reassuring to know Wap won’t be suffering from the sophomore slump. Check out “Make You Feel Good” above. And for the sake of memory lane, his self-titled debut album is currently on sale for $10.99 on iTunes

A life threatening moment for King Yella was captured on film for the world to see. The Chicago rapper was filming a new music video with a Black Lives Matter theme when someone pulled up and shot him twice. The whole incident was caught on camera as you can see in the above video.

“Video shoot gone wrong me gettin shot caught on camera while shootin my stop the violence blacklivesmatter video,” King Yella wrote in his own Instagram post of the footage.

Luckily, King Yella and the other people on set for the video were not killed in the shooting. Yella was hit with one bullet that went in and out of his left arm. Another shot grazed his side. Despite being shot twice, the rapper was still able to drive himself to the hospital.

In a different video posted on Instagram, King Yella showed off his injuries. The Windy City rhymer assured viewers he was okay while expressing his disappointment over the whole situation.
