Woeman recounts hillarious but awkward conversation she had with her boyfriend's mother

Lol very funny what do you think?
What would be your reply if it were you?

5 things you should never search on Google

It is quite easy to spiral down a dark hole when it comes to searching for things on Google, but there is a need for you to skip certain keywords to stay out of trouble. Here are five things you should never search in Google, if you are keen about Internet safety.

Skin conditions
Wondering what that new blemish on your face is? Avoid checking “round, reddish mole” on Google. It will only bring you a whole lot of information and images that relay some pretty disgusting things.
Instead, make an appointment with a dermatologist to get the best information and treatment available for the condition you’re suffering from.

Worms

If you are looking for the best worms to populate your garden, you will have to be VERY specific with your Google search, otherwise, you’re going to get back some creepy, crawly and totally disturbing images and information.

Any Thing You Don’t Want To See On Internet Ads
It could be that you want to search about something related to diaper rash and an ointment to alleviate it, but the minute you Google it, be ready for what you didn’t bargain for.
Chances are, every time you open up a page online, there will be an ad for said diaper rash ointment for weeks to come.

Anything That’s Going To Embarrass You
We all have embarrassing inquiries, but if you’re concerned that some of those things you want to know could be used against you, say, in a political race, then it’s best not to search Google for it!
Even if you permanently delete your search, you’re out of luck. Some computer wizards are able to gather the online habits of people without their knowledge, as well as the private web history of prominent public figures, including judges and politicians.

Besides that, you really don’t want ads popping up for those embarrassing inquiries, especially when you are surfing the net; and your boss or loved one is lurking over your shoulder.

Anything Incriminating
If it’s against the law, you’re probably not going to want to Google it—especially considering what the security experts can do. It is now a common occurrence for computers to be analyzed along with telephones and for all social media to be interrogated.
It is almost commonplace for there to be reference to at least one of these in any serious trial.

How to keep snakes out of your home Guide & Caution

Snakes do not like the hot temperature of harmattan any more than most of us do. In fact, on particularly hot days, snakes have to scramble for refuge in cooler places or they will overheat and die.
Therefore, you might run into snakes as they move back and forth from sunny places to shade.
Snakes come to your home for the cover, moisture, darkness, and food it provides. To drive them away, you have to take all these things away from them. Take as many steps to deprive snakes of cover in your home as possible.
1. Cut the grass short, clear bushes around your house. Snakes hate feeling exposed and avoid open, highly-visible areas.
2. Inspect your home, paying special attention to the gaps under the door. Seal cracks in the foundation of your house or wall and patch the holes.
3. Move your wood piles, these are great spots for snakes as they hate being exposed.
4. Avoid opening your front doors, leaving your windows open for too long (some of these snakes can reach high heights and they are very quiet, you would not see or hear them enter your house.
5. Before sitting under that tree that has that cooling shades, check if there are no snakes lurking around the branches, they love the cool shades too.
6. Check your bed, under your sheets and surrounding before going to bed.
7. Avoid chilling outside the house with mattresses, mats, and wrappers in the evening.
8. Get a snake repellent.
1. Give analgesic for local pain which may be severe, and might be helpful for calming effects.
2. The site of the bite should be wiped but not incised, because incisions can aggravate bleeding.
3. Remove anything tight from around the bitten part of the body.
4. Avoid traditional first aid methods, herbal medicines and other unproven or unsafe forms of first aid.
5. Transport the person bitten to a health facility as soon as possible.
6. Vomiting may occur, so place the person on their left side in the recovery position.
7. Closely monitor airway and breathing and be ready to resuscitate if necessary.
8. If the snake has been killed, it should be taken along to the hospital, in order to identify if it is poisonous or not and what kind of anti-poison is most appropriate.
9. During transit, the body generally and the bitten limb, in particular, should be moved as little as possible, to minimise the spread of venom.

The mother of 4 kids, who was born in Takoradi, Ghana to a musician and a producer called Alhaji Sidiku Buari and mother who is a beautician called Hajia Buari, is now 36 years old. She was born on 21 November 1982.
Taking to her Instagram page, she shared these photos of herself with her fans.
She then wrote:  "There is nothing far greater in life than to share our special moments with all the special people in our life who have sacrificed their time to make us relevant in space.
"My “birth” owes its “rights” to all these special people. My gratitude to all, who by all means, and in all ways, and through all things, have helped me become all I have
become today. My family, friends, buttercakes and above all, my GOD, without whom I can do nothing. I owe u all I own and I remain forever indebted to u.
"Over the years, I have become stronger by what I believe and think, about who I am, and I have become more purposeful and powerful by what God says about who I am. I am no longer the girl who is moved by what she sees to believe, but I have become the woman who believes to see beyond how things appear to be.

"I am more of who God says I am, than what I am by anyone or anything, and this part of me never changes, no matter what changes about me over time. I have also maintained my “living” above things, so that, of all that my living becomes, no ‘thing’ can become my living.
"By my birth, rights to happiness, to opportunities, to prosperity, to excellence were also born, and I’m glad to share these rights, with all. God bless u all and happy birthday to me."

New minimum wage - what Buhari said

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday approved N30,000 as the new national minimum wage.

He gave the endorsement while receiving the report of the Tripartite Committee on the Review of National Minimum Wage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buhari thanked the committee and restated his government resolve for better welfare for Nigerian workers.

His full speech below after receiving the report below:

“On 27th November 2017, I inaugurated the National Minimum Wage Committee with a mandate to recommend a new minimum wage for the workers of our country.

“This exercise became necessary for many reasons. The last review took place in 2011. We all know since then, the prices of key consumables have increased and the most vulnerable of our workers are struggling to make ends meet.

“Since 2011, many changes have taken place. Nigeria rebased its GDP to become the largest economy in Africa. We reported very strong GDP growth rates and exceptional performance of our capital markets. However, these reported successes did not flow into the pockets and homes of majority of Nigerians.

“In the last three years, we focused on correcting this deficiency. We are working to create a diversified and inclusive economy.

“We are pushing to clear pension arrears owed to our retired workers with the limited resources available to us.

“We supported State Governments to pay workers salary. And of course, we set up a committee in order to review the minimum wage of workers.

“In constituting this committee, we took into account the need for all stakeholders to be adequately represented – the government, the private sector and most importantly the workers. Our goal was to get an outcome that was consensual.

“From the onset, we knew the committee had a difficult task ahead of it. But at the same time, we were also confident that the patriotic and professional background of its members would produce realistic, fair and implementable recommendations that will be considered by both the executive and legislative arms of government.

“I am not surprised that the committee has worked for close to one year. I am also not surprised that on a few occasions, the debates got heated and sometimes, these differences came out.

“What is truly inspiring is that, in almost all instances of disagreements, the committee members always came back to the negotiating table with a common goal of improving the welfare of Nigerian workers. On behalf of all Nigerians today, I want to thank you for your commitment and sacrifice in getting us to where we are today.

“In the past few days, I have been receiving regular updates on your deliberations. And today, I am pleased that you have completed your work in a peaceful and non-confrontational manner. The entire nation is grateful to you all.

“The Committee Chairman highlighted some of the challenges encountered during your deliberations, especially as it relates to having a consensus position acceptable by all parties.

“I understand, on the government side, the concerns raised were around affordability – that today many states struggle to meet their existing salary requirements.

“On the side of labour, the points raised focused on the need for any increase to be meaningful.

“In a way, both arguments are valid. I want to assure you all that we will immediately put in place the necessary machinery that will close out these open areas. Our plan is to transmit the Executive Bill to the National Assembly for passage within the shortest possible time.

“I am fully committed to having a new National Minimum Wage Act in the very near future.

“Let me use this opportunity to recognise the leadership of the organized labour and private sector as well as representatives of State and Federal Governments for all your hard work. The fact that we are here today, is a notable achievement.

“As the Executive Arm commences its review of your submission, we will continue to engage you all in closing any open areas presented in this report

Why Secondary school students don't need phone, Answer #Truth

Social media is arguably the greatest invention after the internet. However, as interesting, entertaining and informative this technology is, there are certain restrictions to its usage.

In this article, our readers will learn the top 5 reasons secondary school students don’t need social media. You may argue this, but a holistic look at social media vis a vis teenager will convince you otherwise.

5 Reasons Secondary School Students Don’t Need Social Media

#1. Social Media Platforms Are Not Designed For Children

Ordinarily, social media platforms are not for teenagers. It is basically for adults with some level of maturity. Most times, Social media usage comes with temptations and distractions, it only takes matured mind to handle them.

#2. It Is A Mere Entertainment Platform

Social media is a mere entertainment platform and it doesn’t make teenagers smarter and it definitely will not prepare them for future jobs. Rather it will only expose them to things they ought not to have known at their age. This is one of the reasons secondary school students don’t need social media.

#3. Social Media is Addictive

Social media is very addictive and this is among the reasons secondary school students don’t need it. When teenagers start using social media early, it tends to become an addict.

Trust me, once a teenager is addicted to social media usage, he tends to give preferences to these platforms over his studies. This will unavoidably make a smart and intelligent teenager lost focus completely.

#4. It Can Make Them To Lose Family Connection

Ordinarily, secondary school students ought to have been closer and more attached to their families than anyone else. However, when they start using social media, they tend to be more connected to friends they meet online. Sometimes, they start getting wrong advice from these people as they confide on them more than their own family.

#5. Social Media Replaces Learning By Mingling With Peers

Ordinarily, teenagers need to learn how to mingle with their peers one on one. This is a skill every teen must learn to reduce the chances of becoming introvert. Sadly, when they are exposed to social media earlier, they tend to miss this.

Why Jose Mourinho gave the 3 finger salute

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho responded to chants from Juventus fans during Tuesday night's Champions League clash by reminding the supporters that he won a treble with Inter in 2010.

The Portuguese steered the Nerazzurri to glory in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the Champions League, with Inter becoming the first Italian team to achieve that feat.

The Juve fans took the opportunity to dig at Mourinho in the closing stages of their side's 1-0 win over the Red Devils - a game dominated by the visitors - singing a colourful array of songs.

Mourinho, though, replied in kind, holding up three fingers to remind the supporters that he beat Juve across the board when he was managing in Italy.

"They are not in love with me, the hardest time for them was our treble," he told reporters afterwards.

"For players and technical staff, [head coach Massimiliano] Allegri and [chairman Andrea] Agnelli, I have total respect: they are super polite and friendly."

Mourinho also held up three fingers during United's 2-2 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend.

That, of course, was in reference to the league titles Mourinho won during his time in charge at Stamford Bridge.

However, it was somewhat lost among a melee after the final whistle, in which Mourinho reacted to angrily to the actions of a certain member of the Blues' coaching staff.

Marco Ianni, who is a second assistant to Maurizio Sarri, took great delight in seeing Ross Barkley snatch a 2-2 draw in stoppage-time.

He jumped off his seat upon seeing the ball hit the net and made a point of expressing his delight in front of Mourinho, who remained rooted to his bench.

Ianni swung a clenched fist in front of the Portuguese, who did not take kindly to being provoked at such an emotional moment.

Mourinho took off after his rival and had to be held back as players, staff and stewards all bunched together at the entrance to the Chelsea tunnel.

As a result of the confrontation, Ianni received an FA charge while Mourinho was "reminded of his responsibilities".

Nigerians react as Wizkid, TiwaSavage romance in Fever video

Nigerians have taken to social media to react to Tiwa Savage’s performance in the video of Wizkid’s song, “Fever”.

The chemistry between both award-winning music artistes in the video further stoked rumours of a love affair, as they could be seen cozying up to each other in several scenes.

Many commentators queried why Tiwa did not sing as expected, noting that she had turned herself into a video vixen.

In the same vein, some trolls also came for Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband, Tee Billz, who
had described Wizkid as his little brother who could not be romantically linked with his ex-wife.

China XI open World's longest sea crossing bridge and tunnel

China opened the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge and tunnel on Tuesday, linking the financial center of Hong Kong, the gambling hub of Macau and western reaches of the Pearl River Delta at the heart of southern China’s economic boom. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is made up of nearly 35-km (22-mile) of bridge and road sections, and a 6.7 km (4-mile) tunnel between artificial islands to allow shipping to pass unhindered. President Xi Jinping
presided over the inauguration early on Tuesday but said little except to declare the bridge officially open to a burst of fireworks projected onto a screen behind him. Vice premier Han Zheng said the bridge would help drive China’s strategic blueprint for a “Greater Bay Area” around the Pearl River Delta modeled on other global economic dynamos like San Francisco Bay and Tokyo Bay. “Standing at this new historical starting point, we firmly believe that the opening of the bridge will further develop the special advantage of Hong Kong and Macau,” Han said in a speech at the ceremony. The bridge, which snakes across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong’s Lantau Island and passes Macau’s glitzy casinos, will begin operations on Wednesday when some bus services begin.

Arrangements are being finalised for trucks and private vehicles will need special permits to use it. According to Chinese media, authorities will use facial recognition systems to detect yawning drivers on the bridge, as a safety measure. If a driver yawns three times, an alarm will go off, media has reported. Hong Kong authorities have defended the bridge’s HK$120 billion ($15.31 billion) price tag, saying it would consolidate Hong Kong’s position as a regional aviation and logistics hub.  Some critics, however, see the bridge as a white elephant that is part of a multi-pronged push by China to exert greater control over Hong Kong, which returned from British to Chinese rule in 1997 amid promises to preserve the city’s high degree of autonomy and individual freedoms denied in mainland China. The bridge was first proposed in the late 1980s, but it was opposed at the time by Hong Kong’s British colonial government, which was wary of development that might draw the city closer to Communist China. The bridge’s opening comes at a challenging time for China as it faces pressure from a trade war with the United States, volatile financial markets, mounting public debt and a slowing economy. President Xi’s visit to the southern economic powerhouse of Guangdong had been shrouded in secrecy, with state media making little mention of his itinerary before he showed up for the bridge opening.

Some media commentators have seen Xi’s trip to Guangdong as an opportunity for Beijing to reaffirm its commitment to economic liberalization. Some point to the apparent symbolism of his visit to the crucible of China’s boom on the 40th anniversary of the launch of its reforms, when it began a transformation from a centrally planned to a market-driven economy with Chinese characteristics.  Xi has come under fire from some businessmen and analysts for his state-centered approach to economic policy and his focus on stability, rather than proactively pushing market liberalization. He said last month, however, that China was still determined to reform and wanted to work with all parties to build an open world economy. He said on Sunday the ruling Communist Party would always support private firms’ development, and any acts to weaken the private economy were wrong, according to the official Xinhua news agency. Some Hong Kong media have dubbed Xi’s trip, his second to Guangdong since taking office in 2012, as a “southern tour”, echoing a high-profile 1992 visit to the special economic zones of the south by former paramount leader Deng Xiaoping. Deng’s trip helped reaffirm China’s commitment to reform after the international condemnation following the 1989 killings of protesters in and around Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Adekoya named the affected staff as Dr Sunkanmi Odubunmi, Associate Professor, Department of Economics, Dr Ajani Ogunwande, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry.

“Also, Dr. Emmanuel Gbeleyi, Lecturer II, Department of Anatomy, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM),
Ikeja, Lagos,” Adekoya said in a statement.

According to him, the council also approved the promotion of 49 Academic Staff and 200 Non-Academic Staff into various positions.

The spokesman said 29 non-academic staff of the university had benefited from an internal recruitment exercise recently conducted by the university.

“They include 18 Administrative Officers II, three Technologists II, four System Analysts, two Academic Planning Officers II and two Industrial Liaison Officers,’’ he said.

Adekoya, however, noted that the current authority of the university by the development had further demonstrated its zero-tolerance for sexual harassment and general indiscipline.

He said the decision of the university was also in line with its drive to continually promote the welfare of both deserving staff and students of the institution.

Dr. Odubunmi and Ogunwande had invited the female students whom they had harassed and failed their courses to their office to write an exam on a Saturday.

The students had reported the lecturers to the university security unit who bombarded them with recorders to trap them in the act.

However, the LASUCOM lecturer, Gbeleyi was reported by two female students who he asked to buy an injection, which he allegedly used to sedate them before he sexually took advantage of them.

EFCC arraigns serial fraudster for defrauding army general N180m

EFCC, on October 8, 2018 arraigned one Mohammed Sanni Zubair, before Justice Ijeoma L. Ojukwu of the Federal High Court, sitting in Maitama, Abuja, on a 4-count charge of fraud.
Zubair, a suspected serial fraudster, was alleged to be a member of a syndicate, who specialized in defrauding people.
The long arm of the law caught Zubair when the children of one Major General Geoffrey Ejiga (retd) petitioned the EFCC alleging that a syndicate of fraudsters took advantage of their father's old age to defraud him of over N180million.
A check on Zubair's profile showed that he had previously been arrested by the operatives of the EFCC sometime in 2016 for a fraud related offence, which he confessed to, saying he acted under the instruction of one Johnson Abiodun, whose real name was Nuhu Kasim.
In the course of investigation, Kasim was arrested in Kano, and it was discovered that the information given by the defendant against him, was completely false. Hence, this charge.
One of the counts reads: "That you, Mohammed Sanni Zubair on or about October 2016, in Abuja, within the Abuja Judicial Division of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, did make a statement to Naziru Aminu Shehu, an officer of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in the course of the exercise of the duties of his office, contained in your written statement dated 28th October, 2016, which you knew to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 39 (2) (a) and (b) of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Establishment) Act, 2004".

The defendant pleaded not guilty to the counts preferred against him. In view of his plea, the prosecution counsel, Fatsuma Mohammed, prayed the court for a trial date to enable the prosecution prove its case.
.
But, counsel to the defendant, Joe Agi, SAN, informed the court of the defendant's application for bail, which he said was filed and served on the prosecution shortly before the court started sitting.

Poland pick Nigerian Oil over Russian.. November delivery

Polish oil refiner PKN Orlen expects to receive a first ever shipment of Nigerian crude oil next month, its CEO said, as Poland seeks to reduce its reliance on Russian supplies.
State-run PKN Orlen, Poland’s biggest refiner, and smaller rival Lotos, which it is taking over, rely mostly on Russian oil delivered via pipelines built in the 1960s but both have increased purchases from other sources.
“Nigeria is our new source of supplies we are exploring. Currently, a batch of 130,000 tonnes of Nigerian oil is on its way to Poland. It is expected to arrive at Naftoport (in Gdansk) in mid-October,” PKN’s Chief Executive Daniel Obajtek told Reuters in an interview last week.
“If tests confirm the assumed yields structure and margins, further oil supplies from Nigeria will be a viable option,” he said.
PKN Orlen signed a long-term agreement on regular oil supplies with Saudi Aramco in 2016 and since then both PKN and Lotos have also purchased oil from Iran and the United States.
Oil supplies from Russia account for around 70 percent of all oil deliveries to PKN, down from around 90 percent in 2015.
“There are also tankers sailing to us from other new directions, but at this stage it is too early to talk about it. We are holding discussions on medium- and long-term oil supply contracts with a number of parties, including US partners,” Obajtek also said.
Obajtek said that the deteriorating quality of Russian Urals crude was also prompting PKN to diversify its supplies.
“Generally, the lower quality may impact contract prices, as it affects our yields,” Obajtek said but declined to comment on whether PKN is negotiating new contract prices.
PKN Orlen is taking over Lotos as part of a plan announced in February to improve its negotiating position in oil purchases and to increase investment capacity.
Obajtek said that he hoped to obtain clearance from the European Commission by mid-2019.
“We are in the pre-notification phase and we are preparing to submit a merger clearance application, with some guidance already in place. We intend to file a draft application by the end of the year, which will formally trigger the process of negotiations with the European Commission,” Obajtek said.

Minimum wage Nationwide stirke NLC and TUC demands N56,500 (Nigerian)

Indications emerged yesterday, that organised labour will, Thursday, commence a nationwide strike to force the Federal Government to announce its figure and ensure the completion of work on the new national minimum wage according toVanguard.

It was gathered last night that it was a decision reached by leaders of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC; Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, and United Labour Congress of Nigeria, ULC, after an emergency meeting in Lagos.

The strike will be formerly announced in Abuja tomorrow where the modalities would be unfolded.

Earlier in the day, leaders of United Labour Congress of Nigeria, ULC, urged Nigerians to stockpile foodstuff and other necessities, saying a nationwide strike appeared now inevitable.

At a briefing in Lagos after an emergency meeting of its Central Working Committee, CWC, leaders of ULC said NLC, TUC and ULC had harmonised their separate demand to N65,000 and had informed the government and private sector employers through the tripartite minimum wage negotiating committee.

Until the harmonisation, while NLC and TUC demanded N56,500 minimum wage, LC demanded N96, 000.

ULC President, Joe Ajaero, said, yesterday, at a briefing:  ‘’By this communiqué we order all our affiliates and state councils nation-wide to move to the final level of alert in their preparation for the proposed nation-wide strike.

‘’We urge Nigerian masses to stockpile food and other necessities, given the known intransigence and insensitivity this government has shown to our collective plight as a people.

‘’Furthermore, we wish to state that Nigerian workers will not only deny any government that denies us our living wages in the forthcoming general elections but also set up active machinery to mobilise against their elections.”

Similarly, TUC in a terse communiqué at the end of its CWC, yesterday, in Lagos, said:  “At the meeting of the Central Working Committee, CWC, of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, the CWC empowered the National Administrative Council, NAC, and its leadership to carry out all necessary actions in conjunction with other stakeholders to ensure the achievement of the minimum wage.”

The Real truth about love

I have discovered that love doesn't guarantee the success of a relationship. Love cannot help you stick to one person all years round, and on the other hand, cheating isn't always a product of not loving your partner.

In fact, loving someone doesn't guarantee not falling in love with someone else.
Relationships work out mostly because of our head not our heart.

It works out because of our emotional maturity, empathetic intelligence and self discipline because, time will come when you'll see more beautiful, handsome, romantic, intelligent, sexy, rich, curvy and God fearing people than the one you're in a relationship with.

In those times, love will not help you; self control will help you, emotional intelligence will come to your rescue and commitment will keep you going.

With those characteristics, no matter how you feel for someone else, the person you're committed to will rank first in your life.

You think happily married people don't see better people than the ones they married? You think they dont feel funny sometimes? You think they don't catch feelings? They do!

But understanding that commitment is greater than feelings is the great arsenal that do destroy that impulse.

You can fall in love with anyone, but building a relationship takes absolutely more than what attracted you to them and takes more than love.

We are too fond of loving when it's convenient and sweet. We are too fond of loving when love is there but that can only last for just the first 3-6 months of the relationship.

After then, you'll realise that the feelings have dropped, it's now your responsibility to make it work, not love's responsibility.

Relationships cannot be readymade. You have to build it and it's never always about love, it requires commitment and intelligence.

On the long run in marriages, it's not just love that keeps them together forever, it's determination and commitment.

Everyone falls in love; it takes little or no effort to do that. But staying in love? Building a relationship? Only the strong and committed ones do that.

That's why we must find that one person and commit to that one, discipline yourself  bridle your emotions.

Building a relationship is hard work, it's like building a career, It's like pursuing a dream.

It's  always tough, at some point it will be so bitter but you can make it work by putting your heads together, you can scale through the trying time by being focussed and committed.

The kind of love that attracts two people together is not the kind of love that will keep them together. Be emotionally strong and be self disciplined.

COMMON SENSE - STORY TEACHING

An engineer in a car manufacturing company designs a world class car. The CEO is impressed with the outcome and praised him a lot.

While trying to bring out the car from the manufacturing area to the showroom, they realised that the car is 2 inches taller than the entrance.

The engineer felt bad that he didn't notice this one before creating the car.

The CEO was confused on how to take it outside of the manufacturing area.

The painter said that they can bring out the car and there will be a few scratches on top of the car which could be touched up later on.

The engineer said that they can break the entrance, take the car out, and later re-do it.

The CEO was not convinced with any ideas and felt like it is a bad sign to break or scratch.

A Watchman was observing all the drama & slowly approached the CEO.  He wanted to give an idea if they had no problem.

They wondered what this guy would tell them that the experts could not give.

The watchman said "The car is only a few inches taller than the entrance so, simply release the air in the tyre, the height of the car will sink and can be easily taken out"...

Everyone clapped!!!

Don't analyse the problems only from an expert point of view alone.

There is always a layman's outlook that gives an alternate solution at a given point of time...

Life issues are also the same....

Think Simple...
Do Simple and Live Simple
Because Originally we are Happy Souls..

Release Some Air ... It could be our anger .... our disappointments... our  egos... Our confusions ..

In the end it's all about   "Adjusting The Height" (Attitude), to make things easier in life and uncomplicate the things in life.

"Life is beautiful" .... "Enjoy every moment" ....  "Seasons change" ..... "Situations Change".....

Effects of PHONE on Students

Alongside their books and school supplies, most secondary school and tertiary students – and many younger students – make their daily outing to class with their trusty smartphone.

Smartphones connect students to each other, to educational assets or resources, and to a potential host of distractions. The presence of phones presents both challenges and opportunities for the present day students. Mobile phones can be a useful academic tool. It can also be a hurtful academic disturbance depending on the use pattern. It also depends on the attitude of the students and the policies of the schools they go to.

Below are some effects of mobile phones on students both the negative and the positive effects.

#1. More Convenience

Mobile phones are obviously convenient. Due to mobile phones, students never need to look for a pay telephone or wonder about the location of their friends and Lecture Theater.

These ubiquitous communication tools enable students to instantly reach their parents and their peers. Everything from calling to check movie times to ordering a pizza is easier with a mobile phone.

#2. Greater Technology Availability

This can be categorize as one of the positive effects of mobile phones on students. Picture taking and Internet surfing are readily available on most phones.

This guides students in gathering the info that they need for school or accessing their school website or their email. Students benefit from the technology availability as it enables the students to create more polished academic products with little efforts than before the ready availability of phones.

#3. Improved Personal Security

Many parents contend and argue that mobile phones keep students very safe. A parent will never be more than a phone call away when a student is carrying their mobile phone.

The presence of a mobile phone likewise guarantees that students can call their parents or emergency personnel on account of an unforeseen emergency. While most students will never need to utilize their mobile phone as a safety gadget. The knowledge that it could be utilized as such puts parents at ease and keeps them paying the monthly mobile phone charge.

#4. More Distractions

The biggest lament of teachers with respect to mobile phones is that they lead to student off task behavior and distraction. Messaging a friend is a tempting diversion that so many students prefer over listening to a lecture or completing a class assignment.

If not silenced, mobile phones can ring during class, drawing the class’s attention away from the lesson and disrupting the flow of studying.

This is one the effects of mobile phones on students of which impacts students’ school performance negatively. It prevents them from committing their full attention to their studies.

#5. Inappropriate Behaviors

This is one of the major negative effects of mobile phones on students. While helpful, a significant number of the features of mobile phones can likewise be used to take part in improper behaviors. Taking inappropriate pictures (nudes) and then send them to a girlfriend or boyfriend is a growing problem. These photos sometimes end up in the wrong hands. This may prompts others gaining access to the private photos.

Teenagers often fail to recognize the long haul implications of inappropriate conduct. They take part in the conduct without thinking about the consequences. The consequences for inappropriate conduct are real and long lasting. Once posted online, nude photos are almost impossible to contain. The presence of these racy images can limit the teens options later on in the future and severely mar their reputations.

Cristiano Ronaldo Receives Red Card On UCL Debut With Juventus

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off after a seemingly innocuous coming-together with Valencia center-back Jeison Murillo in the first half of their opening Champions League clash Wednesday.

Ronaldo signed for Juventus from Real Madrid in July for £105million, with the Serie A giants hopeful he can propel them to Champions League glory.

He broke his duck for his new side against Sassuolo at the weekend and was given the nod against Valencia this evening, expected to hit the goal trail once again.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo has now been dismissed on his Juventus Champions League debut following a clash with Jeison Murillo in the area.

The 33-year-old received his marching orders following a collision in the box and immediately broke into tears, throwing a full-on tantrum on the pitch.

A PIECE OF ADVICE - STORY

A very poor newly wedded,
young couple lived in a
small farm. One day the husband
made the
following proposal to his wife:
Honey, I will leave the house: I
will travel faraway,
get a job and work hard in order
to come back
and give you the comfortable
life that you
deserve. I do not know how long
I will stay away,
I only ask one thing, please wait
for me, and while
I am away, you should be
faithful to me, because
I will be faithful to you. His wife
agreed, so the
young man left. He walked many
days until he
found a farmer who was in need
of someone to
help him. The young man
offered his services. He
was accepted. Therefore he
discussed the terms
with his boss:
Let me work for as long as I
want and when I
think I should go home, please
relieve me of my
duties. I do not want to receive
my salary. I ask
you to save it for me, until the
day I leave. The
day I decide to go, please give
me the money and
I will go my way. They agreed
on that. So, the
young man worked for twenty
years without
holiday and without rest. After
twenty years, he
came to his boss and said:
Boss, I want my money, because
I am returning to
my home. The boss replied:
All right, after all, I made a deal
with you and I
will stick to it. However, before
you go I want to
offer you something new: I will
give you all your
money and send you away; or I
will give you 3
pieces of advice and send you
away. If I give you
money, you lose the 3 pieces of
advice. If I give
you the 3 pieces of advice, you
lose the money.
Now, go to your room and think
about your
answer. He thought for two
days. Then he went
to the boss and told him:
I want the 3 pieces of advice.
The boss stressed
again, if I give you the 3 pieces
of advice, I will
not give you the money, and the
man replied:
I want the 3 pieces of advice.
The boss then told
him:
No. 1: Never take shortcuts in
your life, shorter
and unknown paths can cost
your life. No. 2:
Never be too curious, for
curiosity towards evil
can be deadly. No. 3: Never make
decisions in
moments of anger or pain,
because when you
repent, it could be too late. After
giving these 3
pieces of advice, the boss said to
him:
Here, you have 3 loaves of
bread, 2 are for you to
eat during the journey and the
last is for you to
eat with your wife when you get
home. So, the
man went his way, after twenty
years away from
home and from his wife, whom
he loved so much.
After the first day of travel, he
found a man who
greeted him and asked:
Where are you going? He replied:
To a distant place which is about
20 days away if
I continue walking. The man said
to him:
Ol' boy, this path is too long! I
know a shortcut
that is very safe and you will
arrive in 5 days
only. The man began to follow
the path
suggested until he remembered
the first piece of
advice. Then, he returned and
followed the long
path. Days later he learned that
the shortcut led
to an ambush.
After a few more days of travel,
he found an inn
by the roadside, where he could
rest. He paid for
a room and after taking a bath
he lay down to
sleep. During the night he woke
up as he heard a
terrifying scream. He rose to his
feet and went to
the door to check what
happened. As he was
opening the door, he
remembered the second
piece of advice. Therefore he
returned, lay down
again and slept. At dawn, after
breakfast, the
owner of the lodging asked him
if he had not
heard the scream at night. He
affirmed that he
heard. Then, the host said:
Were you not curious to see
what happened? And
he replied:
No, I was not. Then the host said:
You are the first guest to leave
this inn alive. My
neighbour is completely crazy.
He usually shouts
at night to call someone’s
attention. When some
of the guests come out, he kills
them and buries
their bodies in the backyard. The
man continued
his long journey, eager to arrive
soon.
After many days and nights
walking, he was very
tired, but he finally saw his
house far away. It
was night. He saw some light
coming out of the
window of his house and was
able to see the
silhouette of his wife. But he also
saw that she
was not alone. He came closer
and saw there
was a man with her. She softly
caressed his hair.
When he saw that scene, his
heart was filled with
hatred and bitterness. He
decided to rush at and
kill them both mercilessly.
However, he took a
deep breath and he remembered
the third piece of
advice. Then he stopped,
reflected and decided to
sleep outside that night. He slept
in the midst of
the bushes, determined to make
a decision the
next day. At dawn, he was
calmer and thought:
I will not kill my wife and her
lover. I am going
back to my boss to ask him to
take me back. But
before I go, I want to tell my
wife that I have
always been faithful to her.
He went to the front door and
knocked. When his
wife opened the door and
recognized him, she
cried and embraced him warmly.
He tried to push
her away, but he
was not able. Then, with tears in
his eyes he told
her:
I was faithful to you but you
betrayed me.
She was shocked, so she replied:
How did I betray you? I have
never betrayed you.
I waited patiently for you for
twenty good years.
Then he asked:
How about the man that you
were caressing
yesterday? And she said:
That man is your son. When you
left, I discovered
I was pregnant. Today he is
twenty years old.
Hearing that, the man asked her
forgiveness. He
met and hugged his son. Then he
told them all
the things he had experienced
while away.
Meanwhile, his wife prepared
some coffee for
them to eat together, the last
bread given by his
boss. After a prayer of
thanksgiving, he broke the
bread. When he looked at it, he
found all his
money inside. In fact, there was
even more than
the right payment for his twenty
years of
dedication and hard work.
Friends, our God is like this boss.
When he asks
us to make a sacrifice, he wants
to give us more
than what we give Him. He
wants us to have His
unique wisdom as well as the
material blessings. Someone sent
this piece to me
and it blessed me and I copied it to you if possible, you too can also share
