Militants claim “external management” of Ukrainian enterprises in Donbas




The self-proclaimed authorities of the “Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics” intend to introduce an “external management” of Ukraine-run enterprises in Donbas. This was reported by the Interfax agency with reference to their sources.

“External state management is introduced on Ukraine-run enterprises located in the “DPR” from 00:00 on March 1,” reports the agency. This decision was announced by the so-called “LPR”, where they also intend to appoint a new external administrator.

“New external administrator of “LPR” is appointed and the taxes will be included to the budget of the Republic,” the interlocutor of the agency said.



Several big plants and dozens of mines that preserve Ukrainian jurisdiction work on the temporarily occupied territories. They are a part of the DTEK, Metinvest, DonetskSteel companies, according to the agency.

Earlier it was reported that militants demand to lift Donbas blockade, threatening to seize Ukrainian enterprises. “DPR” and “LPR” also threaten to stop coal supplies to Ukraine.
