Daughter of former NAFDAC boss, Dora Akunyili, Njideka Akunyili Crosby beat her personal record last Thursday when she sold one of her paintings for almost $1.1 million at Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening Sale.
The painting named Drown (pictured above) which was done in 2012, was initially estimated to sell for $200,000 – $300,000 but was eventually sold for $1,092,500
